Colorado State Council History

The Colorado State Council (CSC) was formed August 2014, by the Executive Board of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. becoming the 61st Episcopal District under the leadership of Diocesan Bishop Jones Foote from Springfield, Missouri. Colorado was formally part of the Northwestern District Council; the 14th Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. since 1959.

CSC currently has 10 churches with a combined membership of 1,200 members under the leadership of progressive and innovative Pastors, a District Elder, Suffragan Bishops and Diocesan Bishop Jones Foote. The organizational structure could be a model for how the councils of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. operate in the 21st century.
